Steve Hane, Principal
Steve brings more than 42 years in technology companies of all sizes. He has held four CEO roles and one CFO role, and has 33 years of VP and C-level leadership. His career includes more than $1B in product and services sales, M&A, venture and debt financings, and strategic partnerships. He has raised over $200M across multiple rounds, matured technologies through commercialization, and led turnarounds that restored growth, often through strategic partnerships in the U.S. and internationally.
Steve has worked as, with, and alongside C-suite leaders in multiple tech markets. He has served as an Operating Partner for a project finance firm and as a senior advisor to a cleantech venture fund. His commercialization strategies have been taught as case studies at Harvard Business School and the University of Colorado. Recognition includes NREL’s National Cleantech Entrepreneur of the Year (2008) and the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association High Impact Company of the Year (2015).
